The cad cell is used in various indoor (typically a basement) and outdoor environments that are typical for heating oil burners including, but not limited to, furnaces, boilers, domestic hot water tanks, pressure washers, and cracksealers.

• The 7006U CAD cell has a fast response time to detect flame failure and with a two-wire connection, easily connects to a primary safety control for GeniSys 7505 120V Primary Oil Burner Control or the latest for GeniSys 7565 120V Oil Burner Advanced Primary Control.
• The 7006U CAD cell has a very high resistance in darkness and a very low resistance in the presence of light.
• 1.The installer must be a trained, experienced service technician 2.Reference the burner manual supplied with your appliance and adhere to all Dangers, Warnings, Cautions and Notes 3.Remove power to the burner 4.Flip open the igniter and remove the cad cell eye from the bottom of the igniter plate
• 5.Remove the control from the junction box and locate the cad cell wires — disconnect the wires and remove the cad cell assembly 6.Install the replacement cad cell by reversing the above steps 7.Refer to the manual supplied with the burner to check cad cell resistance and burner operation
• Ambient temperature at the cad cell location should not exceed 140℉ (60℃)
