Dynatex muffler and tailpipe sealant is a single component, non-slumping sealant that sets to form a hard surface. Dynatex muffler and tailpipe Sealant serves to form a "gasket or seal against air infiltration". Repairs holes and leaks in muffler, tailpipes and around joints. Makes new installations more secure. Easy to use, repairs leaks and waterproof. Non-combustible and Non-shrinking. Single component system, no mixing necessary. Easily applied sealant with water clean up capabilities. Applications: Mufflers, tailpipes, exhaust pipes and catalytic converters. Seals connections in exhaust systems. Dynatex muffler and tailpipe sealant cures by the evaporation of water and further cures with heat. Full cure will be affected after 24 hours of drying and driving at the maximum operating temperature. Surfaces to be repaired should be free of dirt, grease, oil and rust. Wet the surface to be repaired with water. Apply the sealer directly over the hole. Allow to dry for 30 minutes, then start engine and allow to run for 10 more minutes.
